Financial assets monitoring platform and alerts

What is MyMarx Project?

The financial market has become popular in Brazil as an alternative investment to the middle class. In the U.S. economy the middle class began to participate in the financial market in the 50 [...] in 15 years, the percentage of shareholders increased from 4% to 10%. Currently 80% of the population invests in the stock market (EXAME, 2010). The great crisis in the years 2008 and 2009, however, warns of a crisis of confidence in the stock market as a long-term investment, as indicated by the WSJ (2000).

The traditional forms of long-term investment (buy and hold), where the investor buys the stock and has non worries about the short-term changes, are doubted, indicating the participation of investors focusing on short transactions (day traders - same day operations) and medium term (swing traders - up to two weeks operations). These transactions, however, require from the investors more experience and time spent in monitoring and analysis of market trends, especially the short-term, which are usually performed by professional activities of the big brokerages and banks.
The investors, therefore, are more vulnerable to swings in short and medium term and are not able to establish strategies to protect against crises such as occurred in 2000 and 2008, where they can lose large amounts of resources and give up investing in financial market. They lack experience, knowledge and time devoted to market analysis, and information to guide their decisions

With these ideas in mind, Mymarx project has the following objectives:

To provide retail investors with a free automated tool that helps them make decisions to buy and sell financial assets in short-term (Swing Trader).

• Create a system based on artificial intelligence, which will operate in the financial market in an autonomous way - money machine, generating wealth for the small and large investors, improving the quality of their decisions on the financial market.

The beta version of this system can be monitored in real time at http://twitter.com/mymarx.
